Famed chef Louie Sauvage, culinary enfant terrible and darling of New York’s restaurant scene, is at the height of his career. He’s just received a third Michelin star and Füngus, his much anticipated and newly renovated Park Avenue restaurant, is about to open its doors. However, things are about to get “Fücked up at Füngus”.
After a catastrophic opening night, Louie’s career is over in a flash when he accidentally serves hallucinogenic mushrooms to an elitist group of VIPs, gourmands, and food critics.
Cast out into the culinary wilderness, Louie is catapulted into an epic journey of culinary redemption, repeated rock-bottoms, and eventual self-discovery. As the host of a new Netflix series entitled ‘INFUSED TV’, in which edibles meet haute-cuisine, Louie finds himself as the new frontman for an unfamiliar cause. Feverish with fame, Louie decides to become the voice of the edibles legalization movement, which lands him in jail. Swearing never to return to kitchens again, Louie flees to India, before being lured back to New York City by his former Füngus business partner, who makes him an offer he can’t refuse.
Louie finds himself right back where his adventure started, and must vanquish his demons before reclaiming his title as the greatest chef to have ever cooked.
